By the looks of it, between 150 and 200. He's extremely elusive about that, though, although he claimed once "when I was young - so back in the Merethic age".
Foryn was already a grown mer when Vivicah was born, so much is known, and from the way he talks, one might think he was the one to raise her despite the efforts of their mother and the disregard of their father.

Appearance:
His physique and attire is that of a warrior, heavily muscled, equally heavily armoured, his skin covered in tattoos and ritual scars to turn the real ones into a work of art. Foryn invests a lot of effort into body maintenance, partly because he is convinced that every tool should be honed to perfection, partly out of vanity.
Foryn shares the auburn hair and red eyes with his little sister, and they have several mannerisms in common - the way to quirk an eyebrow, or to tilt their heads. But the family likeness does not go much further than the good looks: Foryn's smiles are genuine, and although he can be quite cunning, he is not a calculating mer.
Personality:
Foryn is a jester, trying to shed light on the darkest situations. He prefers it when people are mad at him than at each other, especially those he cares about (and he cares easily and deeply), so he will often interfere with arguments between his friends, drawing the fire on himself.
Very rarely the darkness behind his cheerfulness shines through, his jokes gaining a desperate quality. He hates how he becomes when he slides into dementia and goes to great lengths to avoid it (Foryn is bipolar, but usually stabilises himself.)
His self-claimed profession is that of a hero. Especially among Telvanni wizards he plays the stupid brute, mercilessly mocking those who fall for his act without them noticing.
Foryn is a terrible flirt, sleeping around like the average Dunmer threenager. His compliments, and his appreciation are genuine, though.
Religious beliefs:
Foryn talks about religion in the way of the Telvanni - religion is science. His curses do spare the Divines, though, but they include "Azura's starry eyes" and "Ayem's floating bosom".
Childhood:
Foryn is the firstborn of Vayniah and Casath Telvanni, big brother of Relyn, Sathras and Vivicah.
Recent history:
After coming to Heimlyn Keep, Vivicah made Foryn the bodyguard for Nelvan Telvanni's Ohmes lover Yahirr, basically making him a knife against Yahirr's throat. Foryn accompanied his brother-in-law on his research trip to Wrothgar.
Notable relationships:
Despite the obvious blackmailing, Foryn and Nelvan's apprentice and bedwarmer Yahirr seemed to have a good relationship.
Since they went to that hunting trip, Foryn and Valorin seem to have a serious bromance going on, Foryn often acts as Valorin's wingmer in conversations.
Foryn has recently taken Azarath's training on himself.
His probably closest friend is Talvas Irethi.
Unusual talents/Oddities:
Foryn was born without any magicka at all, which is remarkable on a world where everyone can at least use scrolls (if they can read, that is). Magickally speaking, he's difficult to track, as if he was slippery - like picking up a piece of Daedric soap in a shower full of cliffracers.
Motivation:
Foryn is Vivicah's big brother, so staying away never really was an option for him.
