On a journey through Stonefalls, looking for various rare components and lost lore, I met a pair of House members stationed at Heimlyn Keep. It turned out they were in charge of the village, guarding an ancient place. Unfortunately this place has been raided recently by troops from Daggerfall. Accidently, of course. Long story short: Heimlyn Keep houses an ancient facility, dating back to the days when the Chimer fought the Dwemer. Anything deemed too dangerous and powerful to be left unguarded has been stored here, under the vigilant watch of the Great House Telvanni, of course. Many of these relics have been destroyed by the ignorant s’wit attacking the village, but others still lie deep within this ancient vault, protected by highly complex and extremely powerful wards.
Since this place is ours by law and by lore and the upper levels are no longer a secret and mostly harmless, I would recommend to put it into use as a gathering place. There are areas for research and study, equipped with instruments and paraphernalia originating from the First Era.
